Our clinic approach

Every care has been taken to provide patients with a relaxing and calm environment supported by the latest information technology and medical equipment.

Our office is located in the new North Shore Health Hub, which is easily accessible via car, train and bus.

What to expect at your first appointment?

Dr Eade takes time to perform a thorough examination and create a treatment plan which is individualised to each patient. She will explore other conservative treatment options as well as surgery and discuss the options and rationale for treatment with the patient and their relatives.

You may need to have your pupils dilated on your first visit. You should not drive for a few hours after if this is required. Please arrange for someone to accompany you or come by public transport. The first appointment may take 1-2 hours. Further tests and investigations will be performed if deemed necessary.

Health network

Dr Eade maintains good relationships with other surgeons, pathologists, physicians and ophthalmologists to provide the optimal care for patients. We will ensure a coordinated approach with your GP, Optometrist and other health care practitioners.

Eye surgery

If surgery is considered, the aims, techniques, potential outcomes and possible risks of surgery will be discussed. Dr Eade will take time to address any concerns or questions so an informed decision regarding surgery or other interventions can be undertaken. We aim for the best outcome for each patient.

What to bring to your appointment?

  • Referral letter from your GP, optometrist or other specialist
  • Medicare, DVA or pension card
  • List of medications and allergies
  • Reports, X-rays, CT scans, MRIs
  • Glasses or contact lens prescription (if available)
